TS DIPLOMA C18 Rules and Regulations @SBTET

C18 Rules and Regulations

The State Board of technical education introduced new salient features for students, (we know that up to c16s the pattern is the same)
the board took all experts, senior faculty, and industries and decided to change rules and regulations from C18 Schemes so, here you can check the detailed view of this notification.

1. Instructions for this notification

  • This curriculum informs the entire mid and semester examination.
  • This is the LTP pattern lecture tutorial practical.
  • These Exams are divided into 3 parts that are
  1. Mid sem-1
  2. Mid sem-2
  3. End Examination
  • 20 marks given for seminars, assignments, slip tests, etc.
  • In this C18 grade, points are provided.

Best Considerations are taken in C18

  • For this C18 scheme, CAD has more preference, even for drawing. 
  • The sbtet provided a computer lab in the first year so students can get knowledge based skills on digital
  • SBTET has given more importance to practical skills.
  • Sri Naveen mital IAS guided and advised for this modification (scheme C18 as mentioned in official notification)

PIN Number

After joining the 3-year diploma course board provides a pin no for students.

Working days and hours

  1. There are 7 periods which are every 50 minutes of time.
  2. There are 90 working days per semester maximum.
  3. If the 90 days are not achieved board will conduct lases over the whole syllabus.

Attendance 

A minimum of 75% of attendance is required to be eligible.

Credit System in C18

  1. Totally there are 150 credits whole diploma 3 years
  2. Each semester consists of 50 credits
  3. For theory 3 credits, practical 1.5 credits, and skill upgradation 2.5 credits
  4. Minimum credits required for obtaining diploma 130 of 150

Industrial Training Information

  1. The students need to maintain up to 90% attendance
  2. Industrial assessment in the industry:  600 marks in two spells
  3. Institutional evaluation: 300 marks
  4. Semester end examination: 100 marks
  5. Total 1000 marks

Marks for C18
Mid Sem-1 20
Mid Sem-2 20
End Examination 40
Tutorials 20
Total 100 Marks

  • Mid sem 1 as 1st part
  • Mid sem 2 as 2nd part 
  • And End semester as 3rd part with tutorials (total 100 marks)

Question paper pattern for C18 students

  1. Part A - short Questions
  2. Part B - Essay Questions
  3. Part C - Application-based

Pass marks 

  • 35% cumulative (mid sem1 +  mid sem 2+ tutorials end examination) and end examination 35%
  • More than 50% in end examination if cumulative less than 35%

  5. Sir I have 150 credits but 6.2 CGPA because of your c18 scheam my back lock results don't add in my final results this is so bad no one encourage you for this please change the scheme and add the supplementary results in the finals
