The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) has announced that students who were detained in the April-2023 exams due to shortage of attendance will be allowed to appear for the upcoming supplementary exams scheduled in June-2023.
This decision comes after receiving numerous representations from affected students, who were worried about losing an academic year due to detention.
Information related to detained students :
- The SBTET received several representations from students who were detained in the End Semester Examinations held in April-2023.
- These students requested permission to appear for the supplementary exams scheduled for June-2023.
- They cited the shortage of attendance as the reason for their detention and expressed concern about losing an academic year.
- After careful examination and approval from the Chairman, SBTET, the students have been permitted to appear for the supplementary exams in June-2023.
TS Diploma Exams for April 2023 to be held in June 2023 for Students with Insufficient Attendance:
- The students who are on rolls during the Academic Year 2022-23 and are in their II, IV, V semesters, and ER-2020 I & II years, are eligible to appear for the supplementary exams in June-2023.
- The TS Diploma exams for April 2023 are taking place in June 2023 for students who missed them in April because they didn't have enough attendance.
Instructions to Principals:
- All the Principals of Polytechnics have been instructed to inform the eligible students of this decision and to pay the examination fee.
- The SBTET will soon release a separate notification regarding the supplementary exams.
