The Telangana SBTET releases every year a Calender based on important dates such as classwork dates, mid and semester examination dates, and more information like industrial training.

The state board of technical education and training announced the latest 2023-2024 calendar with clear information regarding college reopen dates, holidays end exam information based on even and odd semesters.
In this blog article, we clearly provide all information about this new academic year so students can know the information easily and you can plan for exam preparation.
Important Dates - For the Academic year 2023-2024 (Revised on 02-August-2023)
Odd Semesters
- Commencement of class work for III & V semesters: 15th July 2023
- Commencement of class work for I semester: 24th July 2023
- Mid Sem–I for I, III & V Semesters: 31st August 2023, 1st September 2023, and 2nd September 2023. (span of 30 working days, excluding exam days)
- Mid Sem–II for I, III & V Semesters: 11th October 2023, 12th October 2023, and 13th October 2023. (span of 27 working days, excluding exam days)
- Dasara holidays: Enjoy a break from 14th October 2023 to 25th October 2023.
- Last working day: The last day of class work for Odd Semesters will be on 5th December 2023, with a total of 34 working days.
- Revision/Practicals: Prepare for final exams with 3 days of revision/practicals from 6th to 8th December.
- DLIPSGM: On 7th and 8th December 2023.
- End Semester Exams: The much-anticipated end semester exams will take place from 11th December 2023 to 15th December 2023.
Students are advised to mark these important dates on their calendars and plan their study routines accordingly. By following this revised academic calendar, everyone can make the most of the learning opportunities during the Academic Year 2023-24.
For I for I, III & V Semesters)
Even Semesters
- Commencement of Class Work: 16th December 2023
- SLIPSGM on 22nd and 23rd December 2023.
- Mid Sem–I for II, IV & V Semesters: The mid-semester exams for Even Semesters will be held on 29th, 30th, and 31st January 2024. The exams will span 30 working days, excluding exam days.
- Mid Sem –II for II, IV & V Semesters: The second round of mid-semester exams will take place on 5th, 6th, and 7th March 2024, comprising 27 working days, excluding exam days.
- Last working day for II Semesters: Complete the class work for Even Semesters on 20th April 2024, with a total of 30 working days.
- Revision/Practicals: Prepare for the final exams with 3 days of revision/practicals from 22nd to 24th April 2024.
- II Semester End Exams: The end semester exams for Even Semesters will be held from 25th April 2024 to 30th April 2024.
- Summer vacation: Enjoy a well-deserved break from 1st May 2024 to 31st May 2024.
